Healthy Teens Program

The Healthy Teens Program mainly serves students at alternative and court and community schools in Santa Cruz County. Staff from the Program visit each school at least once a month. If you have any questions, call 454-2437.

The Healthy Teens Program provides these services:

  • Free condoms, foam, and lube
  • Help finding transportation to and from medical appointments
  • Free pregnancy counseling and testing
  • Free HIV counseling and testing
  • Birth control education (including abstinence!)
  • Education and referrals for STDs

So is the Healthy Teens Program the same as AskRubberman.com?

Sort of. We are basically the same people - we all work at the Santa Cruz County Health Services Agency. And youth from the Healthy Teens Program helped develop AskRubberman. But the Healthy Teens Program and AskRubberman receive different funding.
